What should be addressed is that black women do not control the media, nor the information that attempts to tarnish the image of black men in this country. Therefore, there's no reason to attempt to tarnish the image of black women any further. Not saying anyone here is as I have not read enough of this blog to come to that conclusion. Most black men may not be on the DL, but the fact remains that women usually get AIDS/HIV through hetero contact collectively. That is also shown to be the case when you break things down by each race. So the next time someone tells you that black men are responsible for spreading AIDS, you only need to remind them of two things: a. the percentage of black men with AIDS is small, likely only single digits b. women of ALL races get the disease primarily through hetero contact with the men of their race.
